Introduction
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Public Health Sciences from Xavier University of Louisiana, where I developed a strong foundation in science and discovered my passion for combining medicine with public health. Through clinical experience as a medical assistant, research, and community health initiatives, I have seen the importance of compassionate, patient-centered care and the impact of addressing health disparities beyond the exam room.

All About Me
My passion for medicine began with my mother's story.
During her pregnancy with me, she experienced serious complications that turned what should have been a joyful time into a frightening experience. As I grew older, I learned that her experience reflected a much larger issue: far too many women, especially Black women, face preventable complications and disparities in maternal healthcare. Her journey inspired my commitment to becoming part of the solution.
My goal is to become an obstetrician-gynecologist who provides exceptional care while advocating for healthier pregnancies, safer births, and equitable healthcare for every patient. I believe that listening, empathy, and advocacy are just as important as clinical expertise, and I am committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of women and their families.
